This is a very large, beefy Bowie style knife. The blade is made from 5160 spring steel with a differential heat treat. I also acid dipped the blade to show the Hamon from the heat treat, giving it a slightly antiqued look. The guard is Mokume Gane, made from copper and nickel. The handle is eucalyptus wood, with a buffalo horn bolster and brass spacers.
